There are a number of systems that can be put into effect to reduce build-up of waste on the factory floor:

  • disposal of hazardous waste chemicals through chemical treatment, stabilisation, controlled incineration chambers and recycling services
  • segregating and recycling all plastic, tin, cardboard/paper, glass products and fluorescent tubes
  • anodised aluminium printing plates recycled as new products
  • financial return from consumables bought for recycling
  • appointing an accredited waste management company
  • replace ink tins with recyclable ink cartons
  • organic compost bins for food scraps
